    Have a plan for the day in advance. By making a plan every Friday for the week ahead, we no longer live in a reactive and frazzled way. We are able to be proactive and show up well for work and life. This is a life-changing practice that I would encourage everyone to implement.

    Plan Today for Tomorrow

    If there's one tactic that has made the biggest impact on my productivity, it's to plan for tomorrow, today. When we plan at the end of the workday instead of in the morning, we get two primary benefits: 1) We are able to wrap up the workday mentally, such that we can truly disconnect in the evenings and be present at home, and 2) We are able to reduce the activation energy required to just get started in the morning, because we already have a list we can start executing against instead of asking ourselves 'What should I do first?' and then 'What should I do next?'.

    You know, finding that one game-changer for productivity can feel like discovering the perfect massage technique—it's transformative! For me, incorporating time-blocking was like booking a deep-tissue session for my schedule. By setting aside dedicated blocks for specific tasks—like emails, client calls, and creative brainstorming—I found I could stay more focused and efficiently tackle my to-do list. It's like giving each task its own spa treatment! Whether using digital tools or a good old-fashioned planner, the key is to create a rhythm that suits your workflow and helps you maintain momentum throughout the day.     Schedule Unscheduled Time

    Start Day with Stretching

    I begin my day by taking 30 minutes to stretch my body. As an athlete competing in pickleball, tennis, and golf, I feel great afterward. I have done something wonderful for my body, which translates into something great for my mind.
